The origin story
Built from a Real Failure
Clubok started when a 10-year-old quit her job — and her dad had to rethink everything.

The Origin Story
It started with shoes. A simple system: clean the family's shoes, earn money per pair, get bonuses for consistency. The 6-year-old loved it. The 10-year-old quit.
Not because she was lazy. Because the work felt low-status. The before/after photo documentation felt like surveillance of undignified work. She resigned.
That's when the insight hit: the job framing matters more than the task itself. "Shoe care technician responsible for family footwear maintenance" feels completely different than "clean shoes for 2 dirhams." Same work. Completely different engagement.
Clubok was born from that failure. Not as a chore app — as an employment platform where kids feel like professionals.
From Jobs to an Economy
Jobs alone weren't enough. Kids earned coins but had nowhere meaningful to spend them. So we added a bank — with deposits and interest rates so high that saving felt exciting.
Then loans — because borrowing money and facing consequences when you can't pay is one of the most important lessons in finance.
Then screen time as a purchasable resource, a shop for real-world privileges, and peer-to-peer trading between siblings.
What started as a job board became a full economy. A small town where everything is connected — just like the real world.

What We Believe
Kids learn economics by living it, not by hearing about it at 18.
The framing of work matters more than the work itself.
Consequences make money real. Good decisions compound, bad ones cost.
Families are the best place to learn how the world works.
